Last AEW Star Qualifies For All Out After Match Spoiled
There was no great surprise on Dynamite as the last star qualified for an AEW All Out title match.
All Out will see several huge matches take place as Hangman Adam Page puts his AEW World Championship on the line against Kyle Fletcher. Toni Storm will be forced to take on all comers as she defends her AEW Women’s World Title in a four-way match.
AEW Unified Champion Kazuchika Okada was part of a six-man tournament, with the winners of three matches moving on to All Out to compete for the title he currently holds. Okada and his Don Callis Family stablemate Konosuke Takeshita already qualified for that match, with one space left for the winner of the bout between Mascara Dorada and The Beast Mortos.
However, before that match took place, the result of that bout was seemingly spoiled after CMLL changed its line-up for a show that would take place on the same night as All Out. Mascara Dorada had been scheduled for that show’s main event, but was pulled from it, and instead, The Beast Mortos will compete. Therefore, it wasn’t much of a surprise when the match took place on the September To Remember edition of Dynamite.
Mascara Dorada Heading To AEW All Out
Mascara Dorada did, in fact, win the match after hitting a 450 splash on The Beast Mortos. After the bout, Kazuchika Okada came to the ring to confront Dorada, but both men were soon joined by Konosuke Takeshita. Dorada then launched a top rope crossbody to Okada on the floor, with Takeshita seemingly approving of his fellow Don Callis Family member being taken out.
