LA Knight Discusses Squashing Beef With WWE Hall Of Famer
A conversation with a WWE Hall of Famer led to LA Knight saying that both men were “sweethearts” during their talk.
The rise of LA Knight led to him becoming the WWE United States Champion at SummerSlam after spending about two years grinding to become a champion in WWE.
During his climb to the top, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash criticized Knight in the summer of 2023 for being nothing more than a “ripoff of The Rock.”
That led to LA Knight taking a shot at Nash during a promo on WWE Smackdown. That seemed to upset Nash since the big man responded by saying that Knight was nothing more than a “bottom feeder” while continuing to criticize Knight.
However, things are good between the two men now as Kevin Nash recently discussed on his Kliq This podcast.
“We talked and I asked, he was working with Logan Paul, I just asked how it was to work with Paul. Is he a natural, is he paint by numbers?”
“He just gave me his opinion on how he handled the situation, not for me to explain on this show because I don’t want Logan Paul and his relationship to be verified or injured by comments that I make that I might have construed differently than it was meant to be said to me. He seemed like a really nice guy, there was no heat between us.”
LA Knight Gives His Side Of The Conversation With Kevin Nash
While speaking to the Daily Mail, LA Knight confirmed that he talked with Nash at SummerSlam and gave his take on how it went.
“It’s funny because he came up while I was sitting in catering, talking to a couple of guys, and he came up, and I felt this hand on my back, and he said hello and we talked for a minute. He was asking about the match, and everything was cool and hunky dory.”
“I am a mirror in a lot of ways – I give back whatever I receive. We could talk trash, and whatever he says on the podcast or what I say here and there, it could go either way. If he had come in talking, you know, craziness or whatever, I’d have probably responded in that regard. But he was a sweetheart, and I was a sweetheart right back.”
Based on what Knight said there, it sounds like everything is okay between Nash and the WWE US Chapmion Knight.
Up next for LA Knight is a US Title defense against Santos Escobar on the August 23rd episode of Smackdown.
