LA Knight “Could Be The Lead Dog” In WWE Says Wrestling Veteran

LA Knight

Kevin Sullivan is the latest name in wrestling to join the LA Knight Movement.

The popularity of Knight continues to grow, with more and more personalities in wrestling showing their support for The Megastar and hoping that big things will happen shortly.

Wrestling veteran Sullivan was asked about his feelings on Knight during an episode of the Tuesday with The Taskmaster podcast. Sullivan praised Knight for the work he has done to become so popular and stated that he could be the next top performer on either brand:

“LA Knight, this is one of those things where he got over on his own, and he’s done an incredible job. I could see him being champion. The other thing is, he has so many opponents to work with that he could have a hell of a run, and the next guy that steps up once you beat LA Knight, he can have rematches around. He can have 3-Ways, they’ve got an abundance of talent. To answer the question, yeah I easily could see LA Knight being the lead dog there.”

Sullivan continued, believing that because the World Heavyweight Championship is not as established as the WWE Title it would be a perfect experiment to see how Knight deals with being World Champion.

“Yeah, I definitely do. Don’t you? It’s almost like you can see that they’ve stuck their toe in the water a couple of times, and they’ve debated, ‘Oh, is it too cold, not cold enough?’ or whatever. So let’s stick our ankle in and give him the other belt first. That’s what I see, too.

If Knight is to receive a title shot in the future, he will have to wait until after the Payback Premium Live event as Seth Rollins already has an opponent for the show.

What Is Next For LA Knight?

Following a victory at SummerSlam in the Battle Royal, Knight still receives one of the biggest crowd reactions on Friday nights. The Megastar has recently been pulling double duty, frequently antagonising The Miz on Raw, who believes that Knight is not worth the hype. Knight has admitted even he did not expect to be this popular in WWE.

Having risen up the card faster than anyone in recent memory, Knight believes no one has ever become this popular in WWE this quickly.
