Kenny Omega Heading To AEW Dynamite, Big News Teased
Kenny Omega will be making an announcement on Dynamite.
On the May 1st episode of Dynamite, Kenny Omega returned to AEW television for the first time since December, but things didn’t work out too well for the former World Campion.
In an emotional promo, Omega candidly addressed his health struggles and battle with diverticulitis, before being confronted by his old NJPW rival Kazuchika Okada. With Omega distracted, he was attacked by Jack Perry, and then laid out by The Young Bucks before FTR ran in to make the save.
It’s now been confirmed on social media that Omega will return to Dynamite on May 8th to make an “important announcement.”

Kenny Omega hasn’t wrestled since defeating Ethan Page on the December 9th episode of Collision. The match was taped four days earlier.
It’s since been reported that Omega won’t wrestle again for some time despite his recent return to television.
