Karrion Kross Reveals Scrapped WWE Plans for Wyatt Sicks Feud & Royal Rumble

Karrion Kross WWE Stare

Karrion Kross and Scarlett were released from WWE on August 10, 2025, after their contracts expired.

Following their departure, Kross and Scarlett returned to GCW at GCW Homecoming on August 23, 2025, making a shocking comeback by attacking Matt Cardona and declaring that their WWE exit was genuine, not part of any storyline.

Despite his willingness to return to WWE someday, Kross and Scarlett are currently focused on rebuilding their careers outside WWE, appearing at various independent shows and events scheduled in the coming months.

In an interview with Denise Salcedo, Karrion Kross revealed that the creative plans that he was supposed to have on Monday Night RAW were abruptly canceled on August 10, 2025. The storyline, which involved other wrestlers, was something large and engaging, but WWE decided to scrap it before it aired.

Well, the creative that we were supposed to have on Monday Night RAW got killed on Sunday (August 10) and the creative involved other people. I would love to tell people I know they want to know, but that idea could still be salvaged for that other person who was involved. So, I don’t wanna jack up their creative talking about it, but it was something really big and it was something people really would have enjoyed. [11:18 onwards]

WWE had plans for Karrion Kross’ Final Testament and Wyatt Sicks

Karrion Kross added that his faction, The Final Testament’s feud with Wyatt Sicks, was also unexpectedly cut short and was originally meant to continue. Following that, his role was diminished to brief backstage segments, and he was even pulled from competing in the Royal Rumble at the last moment. This led to a noticeable reduction in his on-screen presence, making him feel sidelined and shrinking in importance.

When the Final Testament went over on the Wyatts, that was not supposed to be the end of that story. And, this is, I’m using my words; there was an accidental transfer of equity to our group. And that was not supposed to be end of the story. The rest of that story will be told another time, but then, my group was gone. And then, I was regulated to just small backstage stuff for a while. I was supposed to be in the Rumble. They pulled me out of the Rumble last minute. It did feel like my presence was shrinking quite a bit. (12:15 – 12:48)
