John Cena Beats Logan Paul At WWE Clash In Paris

John Cena abruptly turned babyface before SummerSlam and dropped the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes.

He then picked up a rivalry with Logan Paul, with whom he had teamed up with at Money in the Bank against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso.

Over the last couple of weeks, both Paul and Cena have engaged in verbal duals. They even got physical on the August 22 episode of SmackDown when Cena hit him with an AA.

However, that episode ended with Cena getting knocked out with a One Lucky Punch backstage.

John Cena & Logan Paul Leave Everything In The Ring

Logan Paul went toe-to-toe with the 17-time World Champion, even using the Octopus hold at one point in the match.

John Cena has mentioned on multiple occasions that he sees Paul as a future World Champion, and Paul surely earned a lot of people’s respect with his performance at the Paris La Défense Arena.

Paul even hit him with a Swanton Bomb and a moonsault but could not pin him. Cena, too, pulled a few moves such as the double underhook face plant and Code Red to keep Paul in check.

There was even a callback to his rivalry with AJ Styles when Cena hit Paul with a Styles Clash.

Cena hit a couple of AAs to secure the pinfall.
