John Cena & Paul Heyman Appearing On NXT October 10th
John Cena and Paul Heyman, two of the biggest names in SmackDown history will appear on next week’s episode of NXT.
The past few months has seen several top stars from WWE’s main roster come down to NXT to help improve the star power on that third brand.
Up to this point the most famous of these returning stars have been the likes of Baron Corbin and Becky Lynch. But now the star power is about to reach even higher levels.
On the October 3rd episode of WWE NXT, Carmelo Hayes announced that he will be taking on Bron Breakker, but he won’t be alone as he will have none other than John Cena in his corner.
Not willing to be outdone, Breakker announced that he, too, will have a big star on his corner: the wise man Paul Heyman.
This will mark the first time John Cena will appear for NXT since 2013. It is not yet known if either Cena or Heyman will be involved with NXT beyond the October 10th episode.
Aside from John Cena and Paul Heyman being announced, what else happened on NXT this week?
The October 3rd episode of NXT was eventful for a number of reasons. Not only were Cena and Heyman announced for next week’s show but so too was a big announcement from Cody Rhodes.
Additionally, this week’s episode also featured a surprising title change as Dominik Mysterio regained the NXT North American Championship from Trick Williams, albeit thanks to plenty of interference from his Judgment Day stablemates and the stable’s associate JD McDonagh.
