When Did John Cena Last Appear In WWE?
Fans last saw John Cena in WWE during a surprise appearance inside the O2 Arena at Money in the Bank, when Cena speculated on the idea of WrestleMania coming to London. He was interrupted by Grayson Waller, who insisted Australia would be a better venue for the blockbuster event before receiving an AA for his trouble.
John Cena’s last bout inside the squared circle came in April when he took on Austin Theory for the United States Championship at WrestleMania 39. While Cena had harsh words for Theory in the leadup to the match, it was Theory who emerged victorious on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
In a recent interview, Theory opened up about advice from John Cena on that day, with the 16-time World Champion telling him to enjoy the day and enjoy the moment.
