Jay White Suffers Mystery Attack On Dynamite
Jay White found out what happens when you mess with the devil on Dynamite.
Jay White has been on quite a streak since joining AEW full-time in the spring of 2023 as the Bullet Club Gold leader has remained undefeated in singles competition in the company. White’s most recent victory came on the 23rd of September edition of Collision when he defeated Andrade El Idolo and now the star has set his sights on a bigger prize.
On Dynamite in Denver, MJF and Adam Cole took the ring where they addressed the injury suffered by Cole on the previous week’s show. Cole revealed the bad news that his ankle “exploded” and that he’d require surgery which will obviously keep him out of action for some time.
Despite that, MJF refused to relinquish the ROH Tag Team Championship that the two men hold together and instead vowed to face The Righteous in a handicap match at WrestleDream with the gold on the line. Roderick Strong soon made his presence felt and called Cole away.

That left MJF alone in the ring and before he could say anything else, Jay White came out to confront him. White and MJF went back and forth on the microphone before Switchblade made clear that he was after the AEW World Championship. As things looked to take a physical turn, White dropped out of the ring and walked away.
The main event segment of Dynamite saw the contract signing take place for WrestleDream between Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page and with the two men being held apart by security, the show cut to footage backstage where Jay White was being taken out by four masked assailants.
As the camera panned around, a fifth person dressed in black was seen overseeing the attack while wearing the devil mask that MJF returned with back at All Out in 2022. The show then abruptly cut to black with fans none the wiser as to who was taking out White.
