Jade Cargill Signs With WWE
It’s now official, WWE has signed a deal with Jade Cargill.
After being absent since her loss to Kris Statlander at Double or Nothing, Jade Cargill made her return to AEW on the September 9th episode of Collision, attacking Statlander and setting up a rematch for the TBS Championship.
Cargill’s return was short-lived, however. After a highly praised match with Statlander for the September 15th episode of Rampage, she reportedly hugged many people backstage as she said farewell to All Elite Wrestling. It was later reported that her contract with AEW had indeed expired.
Jade Cargill has a new home
Now after weeks of speculation, all the rumours have been put to bed as WWE has officially announced that they have snapped up Jade Cargill on a multi-year contract.

ESPN broke the story but questions surrounding which brand Jade Cargill will be on in WWE remain. It was initially thought she could be heading to NXT but reports have suggested that WWE sees creative plans as a high priority meaning she could be fast-tracked to the main roster. Nevertheless the star will be reporting to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida as soon as Tuesday.
The move may come as a surprise to some as Cargill recently waxed lyrical about her former employer AEW and at the time noted that it was the only place she wanted to be.
