A former Universal Champion is gunning for a rematch with Roman Reigns.
Braun Strowman might be out of action with a broken neck, but he seemingly hasn’t taken his eyes off the biggest WWE prize.
The Monster Among Men has clashed with Roman Reigns numerous times over the years and was actually pinned by Reigns at Payback in 2020 on the night he won the Universal Title. Incredibly, the Tribal Chief is still in possession of the gold.
Although Bray Wyatt went into that Triple Threat Match as champion, Strowman apparently hasn’t forgotten that night.
During an interview with Bill Apter for Sportskeeda, it was put to Strowman that if he’s this generation’s Andre The Giant, who would be Hulk Hogan?
“Oh man, that’s a tough…Roman. I don’t know who else would be this generation’s Hulk Hogan if I’m Andre,”
When asked if he was done with Reigns, Strowman described the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion as his “arch nemesis.”
“Never. I’m never finished with Roman Reigns. He is my arch nemesis and my greatest rivalry of my career, and hopefully one of these days. I’ll get back in there and get these hands on the Tribal Chief.”
Kevin Owens Doesn’t Care About Roman Reigns Match
While Braun Strowman isn’t done with the Tribal Chief, and Baron Corbin thinks he could be the man to face Roman Reigns, another former World Champion has a very different approach.
Speaking in a recent interview, Kevin Owens said he had no interest in facing Reigns, adding that it’s not what the fans want.
