An injured star returned to change the fate of Darby Allin vs. Jon Moxley match at AEW All Out.

Allin has been engaged in a year-long feud with the Death Riders, which began at Grand Slam in September 2024.

In December that year, the faction members threw him down a stairwell, which kept him out of action till early July 2025.

Allin teamed with Will Ospreay, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kenny Omega, and Kota Ibushi to defeat the Death Riders, The Young Bucks, and Gabe Kidd at Forbidden Door.

During the August 27 edition of Dynamite, Alli challenged Jon Moxley for a match at All Out. At the September 6 episode of Collision, Moxley accepted the challenge, with the stipulation later revealed as Coffin Match.

Pac Returns At AEW All Out

Pac was legitimately injured during his match against Swerve Strickland on April 9, 2025, episode of AEW Dynamite.

Initially, it was believed he would be kept away from action for 4-6 weeks, but there was no update until September 21, which claimed he was fully fit.

In the closing minutes, Pac made his shocking return to aid the leader of the Death Riders.

After attacking Allin, he stuffed him inside a body bag. He then put the latter in the Coffin, after which Moxley shut the lid for the win.
