Giulia’s Biggest Problem On WWE Main Roster Finally Explained

Giulia joined the WWE main roster from NXT at the peak of her stardom.

However, things have not worked in her favor, as the Stamford promotion’s inability to push the Japanese star has left many fans frustrated.

The 31-year-old shockingly defeated Zelina Vega to win the gold during the June 27 episode of SmackDown in Riyadh.

Since then, ‘The Beautiful Madness’ has defended the title only a handful of times and is currently involved in a team feud with Kiana James against Michin and B-Fab.

Sam Roberts of the NotSam Wrestling podcast speculated on the reason for her main roster struggle.

I think Giulia has not yet established an identity on the main roster. I think Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer came to NXT at the same time, came to the main roster at similar times, and I think the audience has taken to Stephanie Vaquer, and I think Giulia, everybody’s still trying to figure out. They call Giulia ‘The Beautiful Madness.’ I have not seen madness. [1:11:23 onwards]

WWE Hall Of Famer Worried About Giulia’s Predicament

WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley recently discussed the Japanese star’s situation in the Stamford promotion.

Highlighting the lack of enthusiasm among the audiences during her singles match against Michin, he said he worried that she may not have adjusted well to the American style of wrestling.

Dudley clarified that she certainly carries the “it factor,” but she is still finding her way around the business.

The 54-year-old, too, touched upon the success achieved by Stephanie Vaquer while comparing their similar journeys.

Speaking of Stephanie Vaquer, she currently serves as the Women’s World Champion on RAW and will face WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton at Crown Jewel.

The Beautiful Madness will also feature in WWE’s upcoming tour to Japan, which will be headlined by CM Punk.
