Massive Championship Match Officially Announced For WWE Crown Jewel
Adam Pearce has announced a massive championship match for WWE Crown Jewel.
After winning the Battle Royal at Evolution, Stephanie Vaquer earned a shot at the Women’s World Championship. While she was scheduled to face the winner of Naomi vs. IYO SKY at Clash in Paris, the match was canceled after The Glow announced her pregnancy and relinquished the title.
Pearce later announced that Vaquer would fight SKY for the vacant championship at Wrestlepalooza. Last Saturday, the two ladies went to war at the first premium live event on ESPN, with La Primera emerging victorious to capture her first world championship in the Stamford-based company.
Stephanie Vaquer Cut An Emotional Promo On WWE RAW
Tonight on RAW, Stephanie Vaquer headed to the ring to celebrate her Women’s World Championship victory. The 32-year-old cut an emotional promo, in which she thanked the fans and her father for supporting her and admitted her title win was a dream come true. She also highlighted that she was the first Latin-American-born woman to win a Women’s World Title in WWE history. La Primera added that she will keep making history, claiming nobody can stop her.
Meanwhile, Adam Pearce informed Vaquer that the winner of the upcoming WWE Women’s Championship match between Tiffany Stratton, Nia Jax, and Jade Cargill, which is scheduled for this Friday on SmackDown, will face her for the Crown Jewel Women’s Title at Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia.
This Friday on SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton defends her WWE Women’s Championship in a Triple Threat against Nia Jax and Jade Cargill, which means, Stephanie, at Crown Jewel, the winner of that match will face you for the Crown Jewel Women’s Championship.
