Gail Kim Returns To The Ring For IMPACT 1000
Gail Kim will return for one more match on IMPACT Wrestling’s 1000th episode on September 9th.
Kim was last seen in the ring when she took on Tessa Blanchard in a losing effort at Rebellion in April 2019. The star was a cornerstone of the Knockouts division for many years. She was the first to hold the Knockouts Championship back in 2007 and went on to hold the title seven times. In 2016, she was inducted into the IMPACT Hall of Fame and still works for the company behind the scenes.
The star announced her return during the latest edition of Busted Open Radio, deciding that if other legends such as her arch-rival Awesome Kong could do it, she would as well.
“If Kong can do it, if Beautiful People can do it, if D-Von [Dudley] can do it, Gail Kim can do it.”

IMPACT 1000 will see the returns of multiple names and matches from the promotion’s history
As well as Gail Kim and Awesome Kong, IMPACT 1000 will see Team 3D reunite, The Beautiful People – Angelina Love and Velvet Sky – reform, as well as the return of Ultimate X and a Feast or Fired bout.
