Former WWE Star Backstage At ROH Supercard of Honor

Supercard of Honor was a huge night for Ring of Honor and reports have revealed that former WWE star Naomi was backstage at the show.

Back on May 15th, 2022 Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of an episode of Monday Night Raw due to being frustrated over their creative direction as the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. They handed over their title belts to then-Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis before their exit and were later stripped of the championship and publicly suspended by the company.

Sasha Banks has since departed WWE with neither party commenting on her exit. She has re-emerged on the wrestling scene in New Japan Pro Wrestling as Mercedes Mone, making her debut at Wrestle Kingdom on the 4th of January 2023.

Fightful Select has reported that Naomi was backstage at Ring of Honor’s Supercard of Honor show, only increasing speculation that she could be heading to work for Tony Khan – likely in AEW.

Naomi seemingly indicated recently on social media that her time in WWE is definitely over and a recent trademark filing may have indicated what she will be known by as she continues her wrestling career elsewhere. The star has filed a trademark for the name “Trinity Starr” for wrestling and merchandising purposes.
