Ex-WWE Tag Team Reunion Confirmed
One former WWE tag team is set for a comeback.
Beginning in 2014, Aiden English and Simon Gotch began teaming up as The Vaudevillains in NXT. The team provided an “old-timey” throwback with their black and white entrance and the team soon caught on with fans.
Success in the ring followed and the highlight of the team’s time in WWE came at NXT TakeOver Brooklyn in August 2015 when they defeated Blake and Murphy for the NXT Tag Team Championship. Two months later, they lost that gold the team now known as FTR and in April 2016, The Vaudevillains were bound for the WWE main roster.
Success on the main roster was severely limited, however, and Simon Gotch left the company shortly after WrestleMania 33. Now, for the first time in over 6 years, The Vaudevillains are coming back.
Now House of Glory Wrestling has confirmed that the team will reunite on the 15th of September at its Fallout show in New York.

WWE still planning to expand developmental system
WWE looks like they are still planning to expand its developmental system which could give more opportunities for future tag teams in the future in the same vein as The Vaudevillains.
A new report suggests that the company still has plans in place for a new NXT Europe brand but things are likely to not be finalised until the takeover by Endeavor is completed.
