Ex-AEW Star’s WWE Debut Date Confirmed
Former AEW star Brian Pillman Jr. has confirmed when he’s set to make his in-ring debut for WWE.
Back in July, it was reported that Brian Pillman Jr’s contract with All Elite Wrestling had expired, and rumors that he was WWE-bound began almost immediately. In August, it emerged that Pillman had indeed signed with the sports entertainment giant, and in recent weeks, vignettes have been airing to tease his arrival in NXT.
On the 10th of October edition of NXT, Pillman Jr. was seen for the first time watching clips of his late father in both WCW and WWE. Addressing the adoration his father receives, Pillman Jr. notes he does not feel the same way and wants to distance himself from the former Hart Foundation member by taking a new last name – King. Pillman Jr. did not reveal what his new first name would be.
However, on the 17th of October edition of the show, another vignette aired confirming rumours that he’d be known as Lexis King in WWE. In the vignette, the star continued to distance himself from his father before confirming that he’d be making his debut at Halloween Havoc on the 24th of October.

What else does WWE have planned for Halloween Havoc?
The first night of Halloween Havoc will see two huge title matches take place. Chase U’s Andre Chase and Duke Hudson will challenge The Family for the NXT Tag Team Championship while Becky Lynch puts her NXT Women’s Title on the line against Lyra Valkyria.
In addition, a Devil’s Playground match will take place as Roxanne Perez takes on Kiana James and there will also be a Lights Out match pitting Gigi Dolin against Blair Davenport. It will no doubt be a scary Halloween for Mr. Stone as he has to face Bron Breakker and the semi-finals of the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament will also take place.
