Drew McIntyre Addresses WWE Contract Speculation
Drew McIntyre has no interest in speculating about his WWE future.
It was first reported around WrestleMania 39 that Drew McIntyre hadn’t signed a new WWE contract, leaving him with a year to run. This was followed by speculation that he was unhappy with money and was some distance from agreeing a new contract. Furthermore, it’s believed that McIntyre is open to at least taking a break when his current deal expires.
However, the man himself is giving little away. Speaking to The West Sport, McIntyre said that he’s content to let the internet talk.
“I can’t talk about that. I’ll let the internet talk about it. I’ll just keep watching. It’s interesting. I’m not the only one that has a contract in WWE. It’s just interesting that it seems to be mine that is on there every week for a year,”
New Announcement Gives Clue To Drew McIntyre’s Future
While the Scottish star is keeping quiet about his plans, a new piece of WWE news might have given the game away,
Despite his contract ending just after WrestleMania, Drew McIntyre is being advertised for an event in Italy in May. It’s also been reported that the former World Champion is incredibly happy with his new creative direction.
