Donald Trump Attending John Cena’s Final Match? WWE Star Confirms Backstage Talks
A WWE superstar has shared what he has heard about President Trump possibly attending John Cena’s final WWE match.
It is well known that the former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was a close friend of US President Donald Trump for many years. Vince’s wife, Linda McMahon, also serves as Trump’s Secretary of Education and worked for him during his first time as President.
Since Trump became President for a second time this year, Vince’s son-in-law, WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque, has praised Trump many times and even called him “larger than life” recently.
When WWE announced that John Cena’s final match would be at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C., that set off the alarm bells for many people because that’s where the US President resides.
While WWE has yet to confirm whether Trump (or even Vince McMahon) will be at Cena’s final match, the topic is being discussed within WWE, as WWE superstar Logan Paul has confirmed.
Logan Paul Addresses John Cena Possibly Having Donald Trump At His Final Match
It’s not known if John Cena is a Donald Trump supporter because many celebrities choose not to reveal that, but Trump is a WWE Hall of Famer due to his past with the company.
WWE’s Logan Paul spoke to Fox News and admitted that Trump’s name has been mentioned among people he’s talked with.
“We have talked about it. I have no idea. It seems like something that could happen. I think it’d be awesome. But I don’t know how political the WWE wants to get, so I’m not sure.”
As for his own history with Cena, Paul referenced their match at Crown Jewel in Australia, which Cena won.
“I am disappointed that I did not come out victorious. He’s really good. I don’t know what to say. Like, halfway through the match, I was like, ‘Oh, this is like a different level of wrestler.’ But yeah, I mean, it’s John Cena, so I got my match.”
Regarding a potential rematch with Cena, Paul would be up for it, but based on Cena’s past comments, it appears unlikely.
“I’ll see if I can try to convince him to come back for one more so I can beat him next time. But although he told me that he’s not going to do that, he’s not going to do that.”
Logan Paul also clarified he didn’t mean people in WWE have talked about it, but rather he and his friends.
Logan Paul clarifies that he did not mean people in WWE have spoken about Donald Trump possibly attending John Cena’s final match:
“When I said ‘we’ I meant my boys and I. We always speculate what the storylines will be because | like to enjoy the product both as a fan &… pic.twitter.com/FRMpD2MdlQ
