Dominik Mysterio Regains NXT North American Title
Trick Williams’ reign as NXT North American Champion was a short one as Dominik Mysterio regained that title on October 3rd.
Four days earlier NXT No Mercy, Williams beat Dominik to win the NXT North American Title for the first time. However, Dominik invoked his rematch clause shortly thereafter.
Prior to challenging for that title, Dominik received a stern warning from Rhea Ripley on the October 2nd edition of RAW. She chastised him for not having a title and then told him that if he didn’t win the title then he shouldn’t bother coming home.
Those words appeared to light a fire under Dominik as he brought his A-game to his match with Trick Williams. Williams tried everything in his power to keep his belt, but he simply couldn’t overcome Dominik plus four other people.
Not only was Dominik accompanied by Rhea Ripley as always but he also had support from both Damian Priest and Finn Balor.
Later on, towards the match’s conclusion, JD McDonagh also got involved. All of their combined interference enabled Dominik to capitalize with a big frog splash to win the match and the title, ending Williams’ reign at only three days, the shortest in the title’s history.

Everyone in the Judgment Day, including Dominik Mysterio, is a defending champion
Dominik Mysterio recapturing the NXT North American Championship restored the order within the Judgment Day stable as now all four official members are champions once again.
Rhea Ripley is still the Women’s World Champion after first winning it at WrestleMania 39, and both Balor and Priest are the Undisputed Tag Team Champions. Additionally, Priest also holds the men’s Money in the Bank briefcase.
