Dominik Mysterio Laid Out By Missing NXT Star

Dominik Mysterio got more than he bargained for when he put his NXT North American Championship on the line at night two of Halloween Havoc.

Dominik Mysterio put his North American Title on the line against Nathan Frazer on night two of Halloween Havoc as he sought to keep The Judgment Day fully golden. Mysterio defeated Frazer to keep hold of his title but a bigger surprise lay in wait for the champion.

After the match, Mysterio was confronted by Wes Lee. Mysterio had beaten Lee for the North American Championship all the way back in July and Lee had not been seen on television since apparently walking out of the brand following a loss to Ilja Dragunov in early September.

Wes Lee Wants Dominik Mysterio’s Title

Wes Lee sent Dominik Mysterio from the ring and held up the North American Championship signalling his intent to challenge for that title once again.

Dominik Mysterio is in his second reign as NXT North American Champion as he briefly lost the title to Trick Williams before reclaiming the gold, much to the delight of his mami, Rhea Ripley. Ripley issued a warning to Mysterio after his first title loss that could have seen him booted from The Judgment Day.
