Dexter Lumis Takes Out The Miz To Earn A WWE Contract
Dexter Lumis is officially under contract with WWE.
Lumis made his return to the promotion back in August, however, Dexter Lumis made himself an official signed talent of WWE after taking out The Miz in a Anything Goes bout during the November 28, 2022 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw. A few weeks back, a match was announced between Lumis and The Miz, and if the former got the victory, he’d land himself a contract with WWE.
Dexter Lumis closed out the match after making The Miz tap out after he put him in his trademark sleeper move. After getting the win and signing his contract, Lumis was then handed a bag of money that belonged to The Miz — this led Lumis to hand out the money to children who were ringside. The Miz attempted to put a stop to Lumis handing out his fortune, but Johnny Gargano landed a super kick to “The A-Lister” to put him to a halt instead.

Back in 2019 was when Dexter Lumis first joined with WWE. For the next three years, Lumis wrestled in NXT, where he was a member of The Way with Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell — who, a few weeks ago, he made an appearance with on the company’s developmental brand. Lumis was released by the company earlier this year in April before ultimately making his return in August under the new leadership of Paul “Triple H” Levesque.
