Departing WWE Talent Sends Thanks After Final Show

Kayla Braxton’s time in WWE has come to an end and now she’s sent a message of thanks following her final show.

After 8 years, Kayla Braxton announced that she is leaving WWE imminently. During her time with the company, Braxton had worked as a backstage interviewer on Smackdown, a host of the WWE PLE Kickoff shows as well as The Bump and Talking Smack.

Kayla Braxton was on hand on the 21st of June SmackDown to give an update after CM Punk had been left bloodied and beaten by Drew McIntyre. Braxton was present again on SmackDown in New York City as she tried to get a word with Nick Aldis after Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton were led from the building after attacking The Bloodline as she brought the curtain down on her time in WWE in Madison Square Garden.

The departing WWE star has previously hit out at “rumor weeds” as she says she is not pursuing work in the world of wrestling. Now taking to social media, Kayla Braxton – under her own name of Kayla Becker – has thanked her WWE family as she says goodbye for now:

I love my WWE family. Thank you guys so much. I’m overwhelmed. I will miss you all but we will see each other again.

Paul Heyman Has Rough Night On WWE SmackDown

Kayla Braxton’s old sparring partner Paul Heyman did not have a good night on WWE SmackDown as Solo Sikoa completed his takeover of The Bloodline.

Sikoa held an ‘Acknowledgment Ceremony’ on the show as he took his place as Tribal Chief. Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu all acknowledged Sikoa but Heyman refused as he remains loyal to Roman Reigns which led to Heyman being brutally attacked and powerbombed through a table by the group.
