Dax Harwood Addresses WWE Release
Dax Harwood recently spoke about when he was released from WWE.
Recently partaking in an interview with Fightful Select, current ROH, IWGP and AAA World Tag Team Champion Dax Harwood happened to speak about when FTR left the company back in 2020.
According to Dax Harwood, when FTR requested to be released from WWE in January of 2019, it was the same day that they made the request to the company. Before television tapings on that particular night, they attempted to ask for their release, however, it came after the show instead because of former WWE CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon and WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque being busy.
When it was time to talk, FTR ended up speaking with Triple H. Harwood noted that they couldn’t be angry with McMahon if he wasn’t a fan of tag team wrestling because WWE was his promotion, however, it “sucks for them” if that’s how he felt.
Harwood also went on to note that he has no negative feelings towards both Triple H and McMahon, as well as WWE as a whole, and said that he’s grateful that Levesque gave The Revival a shot in 2015. Hardwood also said that he has loyalty towards both Triple H and All Elite Wrestling (AEW) owner Tony Khan for the chances that they’ve given him.
