Dave Meltzer Reveals WWE Survivor Series 2023 Match Ratings

CM Punk

What did Dave Meltzer make of WWE Survivor Series?

Despite a stacked card with several WWE stars all in action, Survivor Series 2023 will be remembered for the return of CM Punk. After weeks of speculation and denials from the company, Punk walked out just as the show was going off the air to an earth-shaking ovation from the Chicago crowd.

The appearance was Punk’s first in a WWE ring since 2014.

Just minutes earlier, Randy Orton made his own return to the ring after overcoming a career-threatening back injury. The Viper helped Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso, and Sami Zayn overcome the Judgment Day and Drew McIntyre inside WarGames.

Elsewhere, Rhea Ripley retained the Women’s World Title, and Gunther retained the Intercontinental Championship with a win over The Miz. Santos Escobar also overcame Dragon Lee.

In the women’s WarGames match, Bianca Belair, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Shotzi defeated Damage CTRL.
