Current WWE Champion Can’t Wait For WrestleMania In Saudi Arabia

WrestleMania 43 WWE Saudi Arabia Riyadh

WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque recently revealed a new host for WrestleMania 43 in 2027.

In an exclusive press conference, he announced that Saudi Arabia would host WrestleMania 43, meaning this would be the first time that “The Show of Shows” moves outside North America.

The news split the fans right at the center. While fans in Saudi Arabia celebrated this monumental achievement, the same cannot be said about the ones in Western countries.

In fact, at the WWE-AAA Worlds Collide event in Las Vegas, the attendees were filmed chanting, “You Sold Out” after a vignette for the 2027 event aired.

WWE’s 10-year historic deal with the Kingdom was signed in 2018 with Vince McMahon at the helm as part of the Saudi Vision 2030 program.

Since then, the Stamford promotion has hosted several shows and premium live events in the country, the latest being WWE Night of Champions in June.

Tiffany Stratton Excited About Making History At WWE WrestleMania 43

WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton showed excitement about WrestleMania going to Saudi Arabia.

The last time she competed there was during the June 27 episode of SmackDown, where she defended her title against Nia Jax in a Last Woman Standing match.

Appearing on Going Ringside, the 26-year-old recalled her last visit to Saudi Arabia, while also talking about the future.

I’m excited. The last time we were there, we went on this safari adventure. I hope we get t do that again because it was super fun. Bianca (Belair) mentioned that women are making history over there and I can’t wait to be part of that myself. I’m super excited and I can’t wait. [H/T: Fightful]

The September 26 episode of SmackDown takes place in Orlando, Florida, where Stratton will defend her Championship against Jade Cargill and Nia Jax in a triple threat match.

The announcement came following a brawl almost broke out during last week’s episode of the blue brand.

Meanwhile, Stratton has cleared up the confusion surrounding her reported injury.
