Tiffany Stratton Clears Up Injury Confusion

Tiffany Stratton

Tiffany Stratton is keen to keep moving forward.

On the September 12 edition of SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton put her Women’s Championship on the line against Jade Cargill.

While the match ended in a double countout, the biggest talking point was a nasty-looking landing for Stratton after she tried to hit her Prettiest Moonsault Ever to Cargill at ringside. The champion appeared to hit her head hard on the floor at ringside, sparking immediate concern.

This only heightened when Tiffany Stratton was pulled from a planned appearance at NXT Homecoming.

Tiffany Stratton “Doing Great”

In a new interview with Going Ringside, Stratton denied she was injured, but admitted she’d had a “rough landing” on SmackDown. She added that her absence from NXT Homecoming was more of a precaution than a necessary measure.

“Physically, I’m okay. Obviously, on that moonsault, it was a little bit of a rough landing. However, I was fine. I think it was just more precautionary and kind of just monitoring and seeing if anything was bad about the fall,” she explained. “But for the most part, I’m doing good. I’m great.”

Tiffany Stratton will be back in action on the September 26 episode of SmackDown, where she’ll defend the Women’s Championship against Jade Cargill and Nia Jax. The winner of that match will then go on to face Stephanie Vaquer at Crown Jewel.

On October 11, the event will be held outside of Saudi Arabia for the first time when it heads to Perth, Australia.
