Cody Rhodes Is Sure He’ll Eventually Lose To This WWE Star

Cody Rhodes has seemingly mentally prepared himself to lose to a younger WWE star.

The Undisputed WWE Champion returned to SmackDown on September 12 after a brief hiatus.

In the main event of that taping, Randy Orton faced Drew McIntyre in a singles match, during which the latter won clean after hitting a Claymore Kick on The Viper.

After the match the Scottish Warrior prepared for a further attack beside the commentators’ desk by the ringside.

However, Cody Rhodes’ music hit, as the champion ran out to his mentor’s aid. The American Nightmare then challenged McIntyre for a match at Wrestlepalooza, which will now be for the championship.

During the August 8 episode of the blue brand, McIntyre had taken out Rhodes with a Claymore Kick which sent him crashing through the foot of the announcers’ desk.

Rhodes was subsequently written off from the storyline, giving McIntyre and Orton the stage to keep the fans engaged until the 40-year-old returned.

Cody Rhodes Knows He’ll Lost To Bron Breakker Someday

Cody Rhodes was on ESPN’s Unsportsmanlike recently to promote Wrestlepalooza, scheduled for September 20.

It will be WWE’s first premium live event on ESPN in the United States.

During his appearance, Rhodes seemed in awe of 27-year-old Bron Breakker, whom he believes he will lose to at some point.

He’s (Breakker) the future of WWE. He’s definitely someone that we are positioning to be there as we go, and I mean main event at WrestleMania potentially, the big-big stuff, win the WWE title all these things. But watching him be interviewed is fun because it’s a little new to him. So, seeing this guy who barks and spears people at 3 million miles an hour just kind of lock in…it’s so, it’s making my day because I already know…I already know this guy’s probably gonna beat me at some point down the road.
