CM Punk Issues Stern Warning To WWE Star: “I Ain’t F***ing Around!”

CM Punk

CM Punk’s WWE return did not go as planned.

Punk returned to programming on Monday after missing two weeks of action. Post-Survivor Series: WarGames, it was reported that he had suffered an injury and would need time to recuperate.

During this time, Bron Breakker was revealed as the next challenger to Punk’s World Heavyweight Championship, with their match taking place on the January 5 episode of RAW.

On both Mondays, Breakker delivered scathing promos; the second one got personal when the 28-year-old mentioned CM Punk’s wife, AJ Lee.

On December 15, the Second City Saint was in no mood for a rational conversation, instead opting to address Breakker directly for involving his wife in their business.

Calling Breakker “a cross-eyed Neanderthal nepo baby,” Punk also took a shot at Breakker’s father (Ric Steiner) and uncle (Scott Steiner), calling them dumb.

CM Punk Warns Bron Breakker After RAW

CM Punk’s night was not over after the promo.

Before Rey Mysterio’s match against Logan Paul, Punk met the veteran backstage, promising to act as his backup if things went awry.

Punk surely lived up to his promise as he first prevented an attack on Mysterio by The Brons. He then reappeared when the masked man from Survivor Series attacked and cost Mysterio the match.

The masked man revealed himself to be former WWE United States Champion Austin Theory.

While Punk was distracted after the reveal, Breakker entered the ring and speared him.

After the show ended, the 48-year-old collected himself, but issued a stern warning to his future challenger.

When the champ’s away, the children will play. I ain’t f***ing around.
