CM Punk Delivered Message To AEW Fans

Despite being absent from AEW TV, CM Punk has found a way to send the fans a message during WrestleMania week.

CM Punk has been away from AEW since the now infamous post-match press conference at All Out 2022, and the backstage brawl which ensued afterwards. This also led to him being stripped of the AEW World Championship.

Whilst it would seem the locker room is divided in its support of the former title holder, one man who has been outspoken about his support is Dax Harwood. The FTR member was even pictured alongside Punk and Cash Wheeler at the gym recently.

One of the main ways Harwood has been making his voice heard is through his FTR With Dax podcast. As part of the WrestleMania week festivities, the former multi-time and multi-promotion Tag Team Champion recorded a live episode with Wheeler, Wardlow, Powerhouse Hobbs and Shawn Spears.

Towards the end of the show, Dax Harwood revealed that he had received a text message from CM Punk, with a simple message for the AEW fans.

“I miss them”.

Punk followed this up by saying that he wish he’d bought them all ice cream.

There has been plenty of speculation that the return of CM Punk to AEW could be drawing near, with the latest reporting noting that a deal was potentially in place ahead of Punk’s social media tirade over recent days.
