CM Punk “Cleared The Air” With WWE Star At Raw

The world of wrestling will never stop throwing up the most unexpected stories and there was shock when it emerged that CM Punk had turned up backstage to WWE Monday Night Raw.

CM Punk has not been seen in a wrestling ring since All Out 2022 when he captured the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley before things in that company quickly imploded. Punk went on a tirade at the post-show press conference before he was involved in a backstage fight involving The Elite.

However, despite that, Punk is believed to be on the precipice of a return to AEW with the star believed to be the anchor for the company’s upcoming Saturday night show.

Eyebrows were raised on Monday night when it emerged that CM Punk has appeared backstage at WWE Raw when the show was in his hometown of Chicago but it seems that Punk was able to make up with at least one star during his visit.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider has noted that while Punk was at the arena he “cleared the air” with The Miz with the two men having some altercations on social media in the past. Punk is also said to have briefly met Triple H at the show before being asked to leave.

It remains to be seen if Punk can clear the air with those in AEW as the former AEW World Champion is set for a meeting with Chris Jericho, Tony Khan, and FTR as he prepares to return to work.
