CJ Perry Gives Latest Update On MRSA Fight

AEW star CJ Perry has given the latest update on her health after a simple splinter caused an MRSA infection that required surgery.

The former Lana was forced to miss AEW Collision in Garland, Texas as she faced a trip to the emergency room. CJ Perry revealed an infection in her finger had spread through her arm causing her to seek medical help.

CJ Perry shared a gruesome image of her finger post-surgery and seemed to be on the mend but the star isn’t free and clear of the MRSA infection quite yet.

CJ Perry On The Mend

Now in a new video shared on social media, Perry thanked fans for their support and revealed that things seem to heading in the right direction as far as the infection goes:

[The surgeon] put an IV in my hand with a really long needle. She said it was going to feel like fire. And literally, fire…felt a stinging sensation go up my arm. Lasted around five minutes and then it went numb. She said it was good news..and she dug in more and started to see blood, and she said we’re heading in the right direction.

Despite the infection, CJ Perry was on hand at AEW Worlds End to screw her client Andrade El Idolo out of his match with her husband Miro. Andrade El Idolo is believed to be heading back to WWE after leaving AEW at the end of 2023.
