Chris Jericho Reacts To CM Punk’s WWE In-Ring Return

Chris Jericho and CM Punk do not seem to have any love lost following Punk’s exit from AEW and now Jericho has reacted to Punk’s WWE in-ring return.

CM Punk was fired by AEW for his part in a backstage altercation with Jack Perry at All In, bringing his tumultuous time in Tony Khan’s company to an end. CM Punk then shocked the world by returning to WWE at Survivor Series, returning to the company he walked out of in 2014.

At the Boxing Day WWE show in Madison Square Garden, CM Punk competed in his first WWE match in a decade when he took on Dominik Mysterio. The former WWE Champion picked up the win with a GTS and afterward CM Punk sent a warning to the rest of the WWE locker room for the Royal Rumble.

Chris Jericho Offers CM Punk Congratulations

WWE shared footage of CM Punk making his MSG entrance to a rapturous reception on social media and AEW star Chris Jericho simply commented “Congrats! 🔥🔥🔥”

This was perhaps a surprising reaction given that Chris Jericho has had a heated exchange with CM Punk’s lawyer in recent days. Punk’s legal representative has indicated that everyone present at the infamous All Out brawl in 2022 – bar Ace Steel’s wife Lucy – had signed a non-disclosure agreement barring them from talking about it, something that Chris Jericho says he has not signed despite witnessing what happened.
