Chris Jericho Burned By Firework On AEW Dynamite

Chris Jericho fire

Chris Jericho was left feeling the effects of a massive street fight on AEW Dynamite before the match even got underway.

Chris Jericho teamed with his Golden Jets partner Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi, and Paul Wight in an eight-man street fight on Dynamite. The dream team went head-to-head with The Don Callis Family who were joined by Brian Cage for one night only due to ongoing injury issues surrounding Sammy Guevara.

Responding to a fan who asked the question, Chris Jericho confirmed on social media that he was burned by pyro during Kenny Omega’s entrance on Dynamite.

Chris Jericho’s Team Picks Up The Win On AEW Dynamite

The burn didn’t seem to cause many issues for Jericho during the fight as he battled all over the arena with Konosuke Takeshita. In the end, Kenny Omega picked up the victory for his team by drilling Brian Cage with the One-Winged Angel.

Kota Ibushi was announced as officially signed by AEW after the match, an announcement that seemed to even take The Golden Star somewhat by surprise.

Chris Jericho will hope to be at 100% at AEW Full Gear when he teams with Omega again to take on The Young Bucks. Should The Golden Jets win they will get The Bucks guaranteed shot at the AEW Tag Team Championship, however, should The Young Bucks win, Jericho and Omega will have to disband their team.
