Charlotte Flair Saved From Serious Injury By WWE Rival On RAW

Charlotte Flair Crying WWE

Charlotte Flair might have evaded a serious injury.

Flair and Alexa Bliss defended their Women’s Tag Team Championship against The Kabuki Warriors on WWE RAW.

However, at the near end of the bout, Nia Jax and Lash Legend interfered, costing the champions not only the match, but also their belts.

Charlotte Flair was left in the ring alone with Asuka and Kairi Sane after Bliss was taken out of the equation.

As Sane set herself up to hit the Insane Elbow on Flair, Asuka spotted ‘The Queen’s’ right arm dangling by her side, which could have proven fatal.

In a video widely shared on social media, the Empress of Tomorrow can be seen correcting Flair’s form. Realizing her error, Charlotte complied with Asuka’s instruction, keeping her hand steady.

Sane then hit a picture-perfect Insane Elbow, before pinning the 14-time Women’s Champion for the victory.

Charlotte Flair Missed 2024 Due To Injury

Since debuting on the main roster in 2015, Charlotte Flair has had regular appearances on RAW and SmackDown.

However, she missed 2024 in its entirety after undergoing a knee surgery in January of that year, and admitted to feeling that her career was over.

Ironically, her final match in 2023 was against Asuka, during which she suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus in her left knee.

While speaking on the Forever Young Podcast, she revealed going through a range of emotions during her rehab.

I think the biggest struggle for me mentally is I’ve never not been able to rely on my athleticism. So like where I might not be the best on the mic or a certain look, or I’ve always been so proud of like how physical I am and not having that feel a hundred percent has been an adjustment for me where like before I was like, Llke, I know the girls respected me for being tough and, you know, not being injured.

When this happened, I was like, I can be injured. So it really, like, it’s been a mixed blessing. For me, it feels very vulnerable. But I know that in the long run, it’s going to be better for me.
