While rumours are swirling surrounding plans for WrestleMania, a new report says that Brock Lesnar is yet to be pitched anything for the show.

On April 1st and 2nd 2023, WrestleMania will go Hollywood once again as The Show of Shows will emanate from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.

For months speculation has been rife that The Rock will make an appearance at the show in what may be the final match of his WWE career going up against his cousin, The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. More recently, there have also been rumours that Stone Cold Steve Austin could also return to the ring, one year after he defeated Kevin Owens in the main event of WrestleMania 38.

One name that hasn’t been mentioned with any certainty in relation to the show is Brock Lesnar. Lesnar headlined WrestleMania 38 against Roman Reigns in a match billed as the biggest of all time. Ringside News has reported that a member of the WWE creative team has said that in regard to Lesnar’s potential match on the show:

“Nothing has been pitched to Lesnar yet, so it’s all speculation and rumor because until it’s pitched to Lesnar, it’s just a discussion about what to pitch to Lesnar.”

There have been rumours suggesting Brock Lesnar could go up against current Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER but this is said to be “one of many options for WrestleMania.”
