Brock Lesnar Scheduled For 2 Major SmackDown Appearances

Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar’s next appearances have seemingly been confirmed.

The Beast Incarnate returned to WWE on Night 2 of SummerSlam.

The main event of the premium live event featured John Cena defending his Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes in a Street Fight.

The match was highly entertaining and took place in and outside the ring. However, it was The American Nightmare who ultimately got the best of the 17-time World Champion.

After hitting a Cody Cutter on Cena through a table, Rhodes ended the match with a Cross Rhodes.

As Cena stayed in the ring acknowledging the audience at MetLife Stadium, Brock Lesnar’s music hit to a loud pop.

The former champion sauntered to the ring before hitting Cena with an F5.

This was Lesnar’s first appearance since the 2023 SummerSlam, where he lost to Cody Rhodes in a singles match.

Since then, he has been keeping a low profile after being named in the Janel Grant lawsuit against Vince McMahon, accusing the former boss of sexual assault and trafficking.

Brock Lesnar Confirmed For Multiple Appearances In September

Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net has reported that Brock Lesnar will make appearances on the September 12 and 19 episodes of WWE SmackDown.

His attack on John Cena sets up a final feud between the two greats of sports entertainment.

Cena opened the August 8 episode of SmackDown and addressed Lesnar’s attack. He stated that while he felt afraid, his experience has taught him to face his fears head-on.

While his return to the Stamford promotion after almost two years was exciting for wrestling fans, it did send shockwaves through the industry.

Brock Lesnar was mentioned in the Janel Grant lawsuit 45 times. The lawsuit claims that he was sent disturbing images as a way to convince him to extend his contract with the company.

Meanwhile, Janel Grant’s representatives issued a statement about Brock Lesnar’s WWE comeback.
