Brock Lesnar Named In Amended Vince McMahon Lawsuit
Vince McMahon’s legal troubles are far from over as his alleged conduct has been spelled out in an amended lawsuit that also names WWE star Brock Lesnar.
Vince McMahon was accused of sexual abuse and sex trafficking in a lawsuit filed by an ex-WWE employee that rocked the company. As a result, Vince McMahon was told to resign as Executive Chairman of TKO, a move that ended his official association with the company he led for 40 years.
That lawsuit was filed not just against McMahon but WWE as a company and former Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis as well. However, several unnamed people were also referenced and now in an amended lawsuit filed by Janel Grant, those people have been named.
The amended suit also contains more details such as text messages and voicemail transcripts. Grant’s attorney Ann Callis issued a statement outlining why it has been filed:
Ms. Grant’s amended complaint reveals new details that further demonstrate the sexual abuse Janel Grant suffered at the hands of Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis and pulls back the curtain on the dangerous workplace culture McMahon created at WWE,
Ms. Grant looks forward to holding her abusers accountable in a court of law.
Brock Lesnar Finally Named In Vince McMahon Lawsuit
Former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar has now been named in the amended lawsuit after only being referred to as a “WWE Superstar” in the original filing. Grant claimed that McMahon offered a sexual encounter with her to Lesnar during formal contract negotiations.
In addition, “Corporate Officer No. 1” and “Corporate Officer No. 2” named in the original lawsuit have now been confirmed as Nick Khan and Brad Blum respectively. Blum resigned as WWE’s Chief Operating Officer in May 2024.
Another allegation is that Grant was told to make “customized pornographic content” for long-time WWE producer Michael Hayes and “his crew.” Other amendments included:
- The addition of a transcript of a voice message McMahon left for Grant repeatedly asking her to sign the NDA and telling her, “We need to work on this really f**kin’ fast otherwise I’m double f**ked.”
- Allegations that, after Grant moved to Talent Relations, WWE constructed a new “custom corner office suite to Laurinaitis’ taste” that shared a wall with Paul Levesque’s (Triple H) office. The design meant that Grant’s office had an internal door connecting directly to Laurinaitis’ office. Khan and Blum were allegedly involved with the planning of this office, and designs are provided in the amended suit.
- Allegations that McMahon “recklessly obtained” nude photos from Grant while being filmed for a documentary, with footage of him viewing the images airing on Netflix in 2024 “for the world to see.”
Representatives for Vince McMahon lashed out at the amended lawsuit, calling it a publicity stunt:
As expected, the proposed amended complaint is nothing more than the latest publicity stunt in an ongoing smear campaign. It is filled with desperate falsehoods from a team that continues to disregard the law and the truth.
