Breaking News Regarding John Cena Vs. Brock Lesnar WWE Wrestlepalooza Match

Brock Lesnar F5 John Cena WWE

John Cena and Brock Lesnar will lock horns one last time at WWE Wrestlepalooza.

The Beast returned to the company after a two-year absence during Night 2 of SummerSlam.

In the main event, Cena unsuccessfully defended his Undisputed WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes, who became the 2-time World Champion.

As the 17-time champion celebrated with the audience at MetLife Arena, Brock Lesnar’s music hit to a loud pop.

John Cena was less than thrilled upon hearing the music of his long-standing rival. Lesnar is one of the few wrestlers, who has managed to get the best of Cena on multiple occasions.

Lesnar sauntered to the entrance way before half-circling the ring, all this time his eyes on his prey. He then jumped into the ring and laid out Cena with an F-5.

During his absence from the promotion, Lesnar was mentioned in Janel Grant’s amended lawsuit, which accused former WWE boss Vince McMahon of sexual assault and trafficking.

John Cena And Brock Lesnar To Open Wrestlepalooza

As opposed to ending the September 20 PLE, John Cena and Brock Lesnar will open Wrestlepalooza.

In an Instagram post, the ESPN account revealed that American sports analyst and WWE color commentator Pat McAfee had broken the news.

Wrestlepalooza will be the first premium live event to stream on ESPN in the United States after both sports giants recently signed a 5-year streaming partnership.

The card is stacked. The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) will face The Vision (Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker) in a tag team match.

CM Punk and AJ Lee will challenge Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in a mixed tag team match.

Iyo Sky and Stephanie Vaquer will battle for the vacant Women’s World Championship.

Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre will square off with Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship on the line.

Brock Lesnar’s return to the Stamford-based promotion has been somewhat controversial. As a result, ESPN recently clarified whether it wanted the former champion back.
