The Rock is looking out for the family of the late Bray Wyatt.

The wrestling world was united in grief when the news broke that Windham Rotunda – known to WWE fans as Bray Wyatt – had passed away at the age of just 36 following a heart attack.

Following Rotunda’s passing, many stars of the wrestling world have paid an emotional tribute to him. Becky Lynch broke down in tears on Raw as she held up the black armband baring Bray’s name after her win over Zoey Stark.

Erick Rowan, Wyatt’s former partner in The Wyatt Family has also paid tribute to the former WWE Champion and reflected on his bond with Wyatt and their other late Wyatt Family member Luke Harper – better known as AEW’s Brodie Lee.

Now taking to social media, Windham Rotunda’s sister Mika has publicly thanked Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson for his part in helping her family during this incredibly difficult time:

“Publicly, my family would like to thank @therockfor his kindness, condolences & love the past two weeks. Like he did all people— Windham had a positive impact on him too. And DJ has kept our fridges and homes (yes plural), filled with meals and groceries Love you, ohana.”

Did Bray Wyatt and The Rock ever face each other?

The Rock was one of the first to pay tribute to Rotunda after the news of his passing was made public. The two men never faced off against each other in the ring but they did come face to face at WrestleMania 32.

The Rock was addressing the crowd at the highest-attended WrestleMania in history when The Wyatt Family made their presence felt. The group surrounded The Great One leading to an impromptu match between The Rock and Erick Rowan which the wrestling legend won in a matter of seconds after a Rock Bottom.
