Booker T Wants Top TNA Star In WWE

Booker T wants to see a TNA star given a chance in WWE.

In recent weeks the working relationship between WWE and TNA has seen stars from both promotions jumping from either side. Jordynne Grace got the ball rolling by appearing in NXT and challenging for the NXT Women’s Title, while Tatum Paxley hopped over to TNA to challenge Grace for the Knockouts Title.

Meanwhile, Joe Hendry and Frankie Kazarian continued their TNA feud on NXT television as they tried to earn a shot at the NXT Championship.

One WWE veteran who is no stranger to TNA is Booker T who had a stint with the company after leaving the sports entertainment giant in 2007. While discussing the crossover between the two companies on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker said he wants to see Moose get a shot in WWE.

“I want to see Moose inside the WWE. I want to see this dude in the ring taking on some of the best guys in the world because we got a chance to see Moose up close and personal in Reality of Wrestling, right. And when he was at Reality of Wrestling, he wrestled one of the best indie guys that we had to offer at that time in Mysterious Q.

And I’m gonna tell you right now, those guys, Q and Moose went out there and had a hell of a match. Moose showed me he was more than just a big man that night, man, I was so impressed with this dude.”

Booker T Won’t Work With Dark Side Of The Ring

Booker T was recently part of the “Who Killed WCW?” docuseries produced by The Rock’s Seven Bucks Promotions and the team behind Dark Side of The Ring. However, the WWE Hall of Famer was less than impressed with how he was portrayed.

Booker said on a different episode of his podcast that he only agreed to participate because of involvement from The Rock and Brian Gewirtz, but he was let down by the final result. The former World Champion said his comments on the show were taken out of context, and he vowed to never work with Dark Side of The Ring again.
