Blake Monroe Reveals She Wanted To Marry Ex-WWE Champion

WWE Blake Monroe

Blake Monroe recently got candid about life outside WWE.

The NXT star debuted for the Stamford promotion in June 2025 after quitting All Elite Wrestling in May. Previously called Mariah May, she was rebranded as Blake Monroe.

The 27-year-old made her in-ring debut at the Great American Bash, teaming up with Jordynne Grace to defeat the Fatal Influence duo of Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley.

She’s currently a heel figure on the brand after she turned on Grace at WWE Evolution.

During a chat with The CW, Monroe touched upon a few personal topics, also revealing that she went to culinary school and is a trained chef.

She named Jeff Hardy as her favorite wrestler growing up, while adding she wanted to marry him.

My favorite WWE superstar growing up, and I feel like this is gonna be a really popular answer, but it’s Jeff Hardy. It has to be. I wanted to be him or marry him, and neither really happened.

Blake Monroe Promises Hell For Jordynne Grace At No Mercy

Ever since being betrayed by Blake Monroe, Jordynne Grace has been out for vengeance.

Both wrestlers clashed at NXT Heatwave where Monroe beat Grace in a singles match. Just when Monroe may have felt her feud with has ended with Grace, the latter came after her again.

While it has not been officially announced, the two might square off again at No Mercy on September 27.

On the latest episode of NXT, a vignette ran showing Blake Monroe being upset with Grace, claiming she made her feel something, which she had buried under her latest persona.

She said that Grace had awakened her and now she had teeth, ending the video with, “See you in hell, JG.”
