For months now, the Blackpool Combat Club has been thorns in the side – or screwdrivers in the head – of The Elite but now AEW’s first faction is back to full strength.

The BCC has been running amok in AEW for several months taking every and any opportunity to take out The Elite. The group sent The Young Bucks to the hospital and viciously attacked Kenny Omega on countless occasions.

Interestingly, the first confrontation between the two groups saw The Elite, somewhat surprisingly coming to the aid of their former friend and partner, Hangman Adam Page who has had more than his fair share of troubles with the group, especially Jon Moxley.

As the BCC continue to assert its dominance on a weekly basis over The Elite, things looked desperate for Omega and The Bucks, especially after Don Callis turned on Omega during his cage match with Moxley allowing the former WWE Champion to pick up the win.

On Dynamite in Austin, Texas, it was a familiar story with the Blackpool Combat Club attacking The Young Bucks in the parking lot. Later in the evening, Don Callis sought to explain why he betrayed Kenny Omega which brought The Best Bout Machine out into the arena. Security was there to hold Omega off and the BCC struck again. The Bucks came to his aid accompanied by plenty of weapons to make up for the numbers disadvantage but the crowd came unglued when Hangman Adam Page came to stand side-by-side with his former Elite partners.

Page accepted the offer of a broom from Omega and the four men charged to the ring, quickly dispatching their foes. Adam Page then announced that “we are The Elite” signaling that the band was back together and that the group would face the BCC at Double Or Nothing in Anarchy In The Arena.

Adam Page went his separate way from The Elite back in 2020 after he cost The Young Bucks a chance to challenge himself and Omega for their AEW Tag Team Championship. But that exit from the group came after months of Page saying that he wanted to distance himself and make his own way in the company.

Kenny Omega and Adam Page were the company’s second-ever tag team champions and after the breakup, Omega was the man that Page eventually defeated to become AEW World Champion at Full Gear in 2021.
