Becky Lynch To Miss WWE Superstar Spectacle In India
Becky Lynch shared the unfortunate news that she will miss WWE’s upcoming event taking place in India.
The WWE Raw brand is headed to Hyderabad, India for a live event called Superstar Spectacle this Friday, September 8 that will air on television in India as well. It is WWE’s first event in India since 2017.
One of the big names that was going to be there was Becky Lynch. However, Lynch shared on X/Twitter that she won’t be making the trip due to a rip in her passport.

While Lynch won’t be able to make it to India for the Superstar Spectacle, her World Heavyweight Champion husband Seth “Freakin” Rollins will be there teaming up with 16-time WWE World Champion John Cena against the team of Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci.
The updated line-up for the Superstar Spectacle event in Hyderabad, India is as follows:
- Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs. Veer and Sanga
- John Cena and Seth Rollins vs. Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci
- Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Natalya – Singles match for the Women’s World Championship.
- Appearances from Matt Riddle, Jinder Mahal, Bron Breakker and Shanky
Becky Lynch Will Be In The NXT Main Event Next Week
Fans of Becky Lynch in India won’t get to see her this Friday, but “The Man” will come around to NXT next Tuesday night.
On this week’s edition of NXT, Tiffany Stratton successfully retained the NXT Women’s Championship against Kiana James. After the match, Lynch appeared on the video screen to inform Stratton that Lynch will face Stratton in the main event of NXT next week (September 12th). Not only that, but Lynch will challenge Stratton for the NXT Women’s Title in the main event.
It’s obviously a big match for both women since Stratton will want to prove she can beat one of the best of all time. Meanwhile, Lynch has done it all and won it all in WWE except for the NXT Women’s Title, so she’ll get that opportunity next week on NXT television.
