Becky Lynch Says She Was Inspired To Wrestle By Lita
Becky Lynch is inspiring a new generation of WWE fans, but it is her new tag team partner Lita, that gave The Man the flame to step into the ring.
Just last year, Becky Lynch feuded with Lita over the Raw Women’s Championship, battling one on one at Elimination Chamber. But now The Man has shared insight into just how important her former opponent has been.
Becky Lynch shared how Lita’s style and appearance helped show a pathway for the future Big Time Becks.
“I remember being mesmerized the first time I saw @machetegirl on tv. She was cool, she was spunky and she was different . As a young woman she showed me that you could break the mold to succeed. You didn’t need to be cookie cutter.”
On this week’s Raw, fans are being gifted a dream match as WWE Hall of Famer Lita returns to action to team with Becky Lynch.
The pair will face Damage CTRL members Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Becky Lynch has been battling with faction leader Bayley over recent weeks, which included a physical steel cage match. After interference from the Tag Champs, Lita, four time former WWE Women’s Champion, came to Lynch’s aid and is now ready to add a new belt to her collection.
Lita might not be the only Hall of Famer making a return as WWE start to line up what will be a stacked card at WrestleMania, taking place across two nights as the company make a return to Hollywood.
