Becky Lynch Responds To Speculation She Could Leave WWE
Becky Lynch has commented on speculation she and her husband Seth Rollins could leave WWE.
2024 is shaping up to be a huge year for WWE in more ways than one. While the Premium Live Event calendar is already stacked, a number of top stars such as Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Seth Rollins, and Becky Lynch could become free agents.
Furthermore, there appears to be no guarantee that any of those listed will sign new deals. Reports have suggested that McIntyre could take a break when his contract expires, and fan speculation around Lynch and Rollins has been running wild.
The couple has achieved just about everything there is to achieve in WWE and have a young daughter, leading some to believe they might be prepared to step away from the ring.
However, it seems that Lynch has no plans to leave. Speaking to Strutting From Gorilla, the Irish star said she’d “absolutely” love to end her career in WWE, before breaking down why the company feels like home.
“Growing up, WWE is what I watched, it’s what I loved, it’s the reason I became a professional wrestler. Now, having been in it, I love it. I love the people, I love the audience, and I love being able to being an important part of change. I love that I get to continue to drive that and that my voice matters in WWE.
I feel listened to, and I feel we’ve been able to change the landscape of women’s wrestling forever. That feels very special to me. It’s my home. It’s where I was born as a professional wrestler in many ways in terms of my influence, and it’s where I’ll retire.”
Becky Lynch Set For Big Match On Day 1 WWE Raw
Since losing the NXT Women’s Title, The Man has been wrapped up in a feud with Nia Jax. The bad feeling between them goes all the way back to 2018 when Jax famously broke Lynch’s nose, causing her to miss Survivor Series and a match with Ronda Rousey.
Back in 2023, Becky Lynch and Nia Jax have been trading shots, and its come to light that the pair have never had a singles match. Something that will now change on the January 1st episode of Raw.
