Becky Lynch Not In Town For SummerSlam

Becky Lynch won’t even be making the trip to SummerSlam.

Becky Lynch was set to be part of the SummerSlam card where her feud with WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus was believed to be coming to an end with the two stars set to face off one more time.

Stratus picked up a win over Lynch back at Night of Champions thanks to the main roster debut of Zoey Stark and the two have been tangling ever since but one more bout at the biggest party of the summer is now not happening and neither woman seems particularly thrilled about it.

Instead, the bout will take place on Monday Night Raw in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada with WWE said to be conscious of how long their premium live events are running and noting that Stratus and Lynch would have been severely restricted in how much time they got at SummerSlam.

Will Becky Lynch be at SummerSlam?

Despite not being on the card, reports had suggested that Becky Lynch was still travelling to Detroit for SummerSlam but Fightful Select has confirmed that she has not made the trip so won’t be featuring on the show in any capacity.

Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus were not the only stars left with a grievance after being left off the SummerSlam card with Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley also seemingly less than impressed that she won’t be defending her title in Detroit.
