Backstage Details On Beth Phoenix’s AEW Move

WWE Hall Of Famer Beth Phoenix Opens Up About Early Career Setback

Beth Phoenix’s appearance in AEW at All Out was a great surprise.

The WWE Hall of Famer made her presence felt in Scotiabank Arena in Toronto during the opening match between Adam Copeland/Christian Cage and FTR.

Stokely, who had accompanied Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, interfered by pulling out the referee during a pinfall.

This prompted The Glamazon to arrive and attack Stokely, before carrying him backstage.

The hometown heroes continued to battle through and secured a hard-earned victory over the heel veterans.

After the match, Beth joined her husband and his friend to celebrate. However, soon Kip Sabian’s music played, causing a distraction, as FTR took out Christian, while Sabian handcuffed Copeland to the ring rope.

This left Beth Phoenix vulnerable, who tried to attack Harwood and Wheeler, but got hit with a Spike Piledriver.

Beth Phoenix’s AEW Appearance Not Random

Judging by the reception she got in Ontario, it is safe to assume that Beth Phoenix is a fan favorite.

Likewise, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage will continue their feud juggling between FTR and Kip Sabian‘s faction.

According to the latest reports, Phoenix’s appearance in AEW was not random, and that she has been in the mix for a while.

Beth’s last wrestling match was in WWE when she teamed up with Edge to face the Judgment Day duo of Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley at the 2023 Elimination Chamber.

The 44-year-old star is also a 4-time World Champion with the Stamford promotion and was inducted into the 2017 Hall of Fame class.
