Anthony Ogogo Teases Title Run After All In Appearance
Anthony Ogogo wants to win championship gold in AEW.
The Olympic bronze medalist made his return to TV during the zero-hour show at All In. Not only did Ogogo appear as part of the pre-show panel, but he would provide backup later on in the night. As Jeff Jarret berated the live crowd as it was Americans who made it all possible, The Last Outlaw was interrupted by Ogogo, Paul Wight and a surprise appearance from Grado.
Ogogo, Wight and Grado all cleared the ring to celebrate with the Wembley crowd as the segment ended. Later in the night, fellow British star Saraya would have her crowning moment in the company, winning the Women’s Championship with her family in attendance in the front row. While the boxer is happy that Saraya walked out with the gold, he has made it clear that he wants to join her in bringing more championships back to the UK.
Taking to Instagram, Ogogo congratulated Saraya for the achievement in front of over 80,000 people. The former Olympian then called out the promotion and said that winning his first championship is next on the agenda.
East Anglia’s finest. @saraya brought the AEW women’s world title home in an all time classic at Wembley stadium. Time for me to get some bling of my own! @aew can you hear me 👂🏽?
Anthony Ogogo Previously Expressed Frustrations With Creative
Ogogo has not been seen on weekly TV in over 2 years, last competing on an episode of Dynamite in June 2021, only competing on Dark and Dark: Elevation afterwards. The British star has had issues with the way that he has been underutilised since signing with the promotion. One interview that highlighted his annoyance was when there was no time for him to be on TV but there was for the wrestler that spins pizza.
